A historic warehouse, a kitchen with soul
Nearly 90 years within these walls
When we were offered this venue in Ses Salines, we knew we couldn't change a thing. The worn floors, the wooden beams, the corners that smell of time: everything told a story. "Es Magatzem" means warehouse in Mallorcan, and that is exactly what this building was for decades.
We decided to preserve its essence and turn it into a place where you eat without rush, surrounded by authentic Mallorca. Every rustic detail you see has been here long before us.
Recipes that don't need reinventing
We cook what has always been cooked in Mallorca: arròs brut, frito mallorquín, bacalao con sobrasada y miel, meats and fish the traditional way. We work with local Km0 producers because the best ingredient is the one that grows nearby.
The menu changes with the seasons, and the desserts — like the ensaimada pudding — are made fresh every day in our kitchen. We also adapt dishes for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs upon request.

After years working in hospitality, we opened our own doors. There are no middlemen here: we are the ones who cook, serve and welcome you. We wanted a place where everyone who walks in feels at home, and that is only possible when you are behind the counter yourself.
Es Magatzem Fat y Salat has become a meeting point for locals and visitors in Ses Salines. A place where you don't just eat well, but share something genuine.
